Bloody Rose

YES! I have finally completed this piece! so happy!

So here`s the story:
I started this sketch, [link] about a week ago. it was so hard to get the proportion and everything perfect (well not really) as nice as I want it to be. It was hard So I was originally going to give up on it... but then again, I love this character, Zero from Vampire Knight (manga) Yes it is about vampires, but don`t you go blabbering about TWILIGHT! (These two stories CAN NEVER be compared!)
ANYWAYS, back to this. So what happened was, I was bored one night, I had insomnia, as usual, so I started sketching it, [I had reference, but I changed it slightly] and I liked it, well semi. Then the next day, I worked on it more.. then I traced it, and transferred it to watercolour paper. And wukaka, I painted using watercolours It was fun, but frustrating. The line art took years, I inked before I coloured it, and then inked it several places to give it the final touches. I was told that the hair looks flat here, but it doesn't if I were to show it to you 'live' I think it is due to the angle I took this picture of this piece in... ...Welll- I`mz a happy girl who finally finished this VK fanart :]

Bloody Rose: In this story, this gun, seen in this piece, is used to kill vampires. Yes Zero, the guy here, IS a vampire, and he IS pointing it to himself, 'cause he HATES vampires, so he was at one point of committing suicide... (well semi). The rest of the story, you will have to read and find out yourself The manga may be found in mangafox or onemanga websites if you're interested
